To enhance communications between school and families, St. Alphonsus has instituted a telephone broadcast system that will enable school personnel to notify all households by phone and by text within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that causes school to be cancelled. Cancellations will also be posted on the Emergency Closing Center. Typically, if District 21 is closed, St. Alphonsus will also be closed.

Should it become necessary to close school due to weather conditions, you will be notified by an automated broadcast telephone and text message from the school.  For this reason it is imperative that you notify the office immediately if your main contact number changes, so that we may update our information.
