Principal’s Welcome

Dear Parents and Parishioners:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Peter Trumblay, and I will be the new principal at St. Alphonsus School starting July 1st. My experience has been thirteen years as a teacher and twenty years as a principal. Currently, I live on the northwest side of Chicago. I love to read, travel, and I am a huge Cubs fan. I am very excited to be part of a great community like St. Alphonsus School and Parish.

Many people have asked me what motivated me to be a principal of a Catholic school? The answer is very simple. Catholic education is a valuable tool in bringing the world to the student and the student closer to God. The morals and ideals attained through a Catholic education are for life. At St. Alphonsus Catholic School, my goal for all of us is to continue in providing a high quality Catholic education that helps our students meet the challenges of the ever-changing world that awaits them. It is our responsibility to guide our students, enabling them to live, learn, pray, and be of service to others. When home, school, and parish work together, any thing is possible.

Finally, I encourage you to let other families know about our great school and consider St. Alphonsus Catholic School for their children. If you would like to learn more about our school and get a personal tour, I would welcome you to contact me at p.trumblay@saintalphonsus.com.

Peace,

Dr. Peter Trumblay
